Summer vacation announced from May 25:

Summer vacations are starting from May 25. In view of the severe heat wave, the Punjab government has announced closure of schools in the province from May 25 to May 31. Department of School Education, Government of Punjab has issued a notification today. Earlier, summer vacations were announced from June 1 to August 14.

The Education Minister of Punjab has already hinted at the public survey regarding the closure of schools on his social media handles. A majority of the public voted in favor of the early closing of the school. The minister has announced that the summer vacation will begin soon.

شدید گرمی کی لہر کے پیش نظر، حکومت پنجاب نے صوبے میں 25 مئی سے 31 مئی تک اسکول بند رکھنے کا اعلان کیا ہے۔ محکمہ اسکول ایجوکیشن، حکومت پنجاب نے آج نوٹیفکیشن جاری کردیا۔ اس سے قبل یکم جون سے 14 اگست تک موسم گرما کی تعطیلات کا اعلان کیا گیا تھا۔

پنجاب کے وزیر تعلیم پہلے ہی اپنے سوشل میڈیا ہینڈلز پر اسکولوں کی بندش کے حوالے سے عوامی سروے کا عندیہ دے چکے ہیں۔ عوام کی اکثریت نے اسکول کی جلد بندش کے حق میں ووٹ دیا۔ وزیر نے اعلان کیا ہے کہ موسم گرما کی تعطیلات جلد شروع ہو جائیں گی۔
