The Government Launched Scholarship Program for Meritorious Needy Students 

Scholarship for Talented Needy Students. Under the initiative of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Ministry of Education launched a Rs 4 billion scholarship program to support needy and talented students across Pakistan.

To improve the quality of education in Islamabad, the Ministry of Federal Education and Vocational Training (MFEPT) has allocated Rs 8.5 billion to improve facilities in both rural and urban areas. The project, "Provision of Basic Educational Facilities in ICT Educational Institutions" is targeted for completion by June 30, 2025.

وزیر اعظم شہباز شریف کے اقدام کے تحت، وزارت تعلیم نے پاکستان بھر میں ضرورت مند ہونہار طلبا کی مدد کے لیے 4 ارب روپے کا اسکالرشپ پروگرام شروع کیا۔

اسلام آباد میں تعلیمی معیار کو بڑھانے کے لیے وزارت وفاقی تعلیم اور پیشہ ورانہ تربیت (MFEPT) نے دیہی اور شہری دونوں علاقوں میں سہولیات کو بہتر بنانے کے لیے 8.5 بلین روپے مختص کیے ہیں۔ یہ پروجیکٹ، "آئی سی ٹی کے تعلیمی اداروں میں بنیادی تعلیمی سہولیات کی فراہمی" کا مقصد 30 جون 2025 تک مکمل ہونا ہے۔

PEEF Scholarships 2024

Secretary MFEPT Mohiuddin Wani elaborated that the total PSDP portfolio of the ministry is Rs 8.5 billion with Rs 5.4 billion earmarked for basic education and Rs 3.1 billion for technical education. Additionally, a Rs 4 billion Pakistan Education Endowment Fund (PEEF) Scholarships 2024 has been created for disadvantaged students, with Rs 800 million earmarked specifically for Balochistan.

سیکرٹری MFEPT محی الدین وانی نے تفصیل سے بتایا کہ وزارت کا کل PSDP پورٹ فولیو 8.5 بلین روپے ہے جس میں 5.4 بلین روپے بنیادی تعلیم اور 3.1 بلین روپے فنی تعلیم کے لیے مختص ہیں۔ مزید برآں، پسماندہ طلباء کے لیے 4 ارب روپے کا پاکستان ایجوکیشن انڈومنٹ فنڈ (پی ای ای ایف) بنایا گیا ہے، جس میں 800 ملین روپے خاص طور پر بلوچستان کے لیے مختص کیے گئے ہیں۔

The Ministry is also implementing the World Bank-funded “Actions to Strengthen Performance for Inclusive and Responsive Education Program (ASPIRE)”, which runs from July 2020 to June 2025. ASPIRE focuses on improving education in disadvantaged districts through federal-provincial performance-based grants. .

Key interventions in Islamabad under ASPIRE include:

• IT Labs: Setting up of IT labs in 50 secondary boys' schools in rural areas to prepare students for higher studies and careers in tech.
• Smart Classrooms: Creating 140 smart classrooms in public schools to enhance multimodal learning through technology and digital content.
• eTaleem Portal and TeleSchool Application: Launching these platforms to promote learning for students and teachers.
• TeleSchool Web Portal: Providing high quality educational content through a library of OTT channels and broadcast content.
• Learning Materials: Distribution of textbooks and Accelerated Learning Program resources to non-formal education centres, especially to support girls' education. So far 528,647 books have been printed.
• Hygiene kits: Distribution of hygiene kits to 20 government schools in rural areas as part of the government's hygiene initiative.

ASPIRE کے تحت اسلام آباد میں اہم مداخلتیں شامل ہیں:

آئی ٹی لیبز: دیہی علاقوں میں 50 سیکنڈری لڑکوں کے اسکولوں میں آئی ٹی لیبز کا قیام تاکہ طلباء کو ٹیک میں اعلیٰ تعلیم اور کیریئر کے لیے تیار کیا جا سکے۔

اسمارٹ کلاس رومز: ٹیکنالوجی اور ڈیجیٹل مواد کے ذریعے ملٹی موڈل لرننگ کو بڑھانے کے لیے سرکاری اسکولوں میں 140 سمارٹ کلاس رومز بنانا۔

eTaleem Portal اور TeleSchool Application: طلباء اور اساتذہ کے لیے سیکھنے کو فروغ دینے کے لیے ان پلیٹ فارمز کا آغاز کرنا۔

TeleSchool Web Portal: OTT چینلز اور براڈکاسٹ مواد کی لائبریری کے ذریعے اعلیٰ معیار کا تعلیمی مواد فراہم کرنا۔

سیکھنے کا مواد: نصابی کتب اور تیز رفتار لرننگ پروگرام کے وسائل کو غیر رسمی تعلیمی مراکز میں تقسیم کرنا، خاص طور پر لڑکیوں کی تعلیم میں مدد کے لیے۔ اب تک 528,647 کتابیں چھپ چکی ہیں۔

حفظان صحت کی کٹس: حکومت کے حفظان صحت کے اقدام کے حصے کے طور پر دیہی علاقوں کے 20 سرکاری اسکولوں میں حفظان صحت کی کٹس تقسیم کرنا۔
