MDCAT 2024 Schedule Announce. PMDC has announced that MDCAT 2024 will be held in late August or early September. Medical and Dental College Entrance Test Syllabus is being reviewed and will be released soon. PMDC officials announced that admissions to universities during the online e-cachehari will remain the same as last year.

According to the officials, the candidates have to enter their ID card number for the online registration of the test. MDCAT results will be valid for 3 years. However, the necessary equivalent formula for determining merit will be applied every year.

A province's MDCAT Result 2024 will be valid for the entire country and will be valid for a period of three years from the date of its examination as per Section 17 of the PM&DC Act 2022. MDCAT-2022 Results are no longer valid. To get admission in session 2023 which was already mentioned on individual result certificate.

The paper based examination will be conducted simultaneously at all the centres/venues. The details of the universities and their locations are as follows:

Bolan University of Medical Quetta, (Balochistan)

Jinnah Sindh Medical University (Sindh)

Khyber Medical University (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa).

University of Health Sciences, Lahore (Punjab)

AJK (SZAMBU)

International Locations (SZAMBU)

Federal and Gilgit (SZAMBU)

MDCAT 2024 Dates: National MDCAT is scheduled on 10 September 2024. Last year, due to the COVID-19 situation, the test was conducted in three phases: August 15 to 31, September 5 to 20, and September 30 for COVID students only.

Running Institutions:

UHS: For students from Punjab

KMU: For students from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK).

Dow University: For students from Sindh

Bolan University: For students of Baluchistan

Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Medical University: For students of Islamabad

The test will be conducted on the same day at the provincial level in Punjab, KPK and Gilgit-Baltistan, while Sindh and Baluchistan will have test dates due to floods.

The syllabus and paper pattern will be the same as PM&DC (Pakistan Medical and Dental Council), and the test will be conducted by the respective universities of each province.

Paper Sample:

There will be no negative marking in National MDCAT.

The total marks will be 210, with a total of 200 multiple choice questions.

The total time duration of the paper is 3.5 hours.

Subject wise division:

Biology: 68 MCQs

Chemistry: 56 MCQ

Physics: 56 MCQs

English: 20 MCQs

Logical Reasoning: 10 MCQs1.

Eligibility Criteria:

MBBS Admissions: Students should have 55% marks in MDCAT.

BDS Admission: Students should have more than 50% marks in MDCAT Exam1.

Locations:

Several examination centers will be set up all over Pakistan including Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

At the national level, there will be 21 locations for the exam, and at the international level, there will be 9 locations.

Some of the national locations include Lahore, Sialkot, Khairpur, Abbottabad, Multan, Sahiwal, Karachi, DI Khan, and Faisalabad.
