AIOU Admission Eligibility Criteria for BS Programs

The eligibility criteria for AIOU Spring Admission 2024 programs are as follows:

For BS Programmes: All students should complete their Inter/ HSSC or equivalent qualification with minimum 45% marks.

For ADP Programmes: All students must secure at least Second Division in their BA/BSc final examinations.

For Teacher Training Programmes: All candidates must have secured at least 45% marks or 2nd Division in their HSSC/Intermediate or equivalent programme.

For Post-Graduate Diplomas: Minimum 2nd Division or 45% in any 14 years education in undergraduate degree or aggregate.

AIOU Admission Documents:

Attested copies of CNIC card of the candidate

Candidate's Father's CNIC Photocopy (Attested)

A certified copy of domicile is also required.

Attested copy of proof of previous qualification (result card or detailed mark sheet)

Online result or web based mark sheet will not be acceptable.

Unverified or falsified documents will not be accepted.

How to Apply for AIOU Admissions:

All interested applicants can download AIOU Online Prospectus of respective programs from this link.

Candidates are also invited to submit their online AIOU admission application on AIOU admission portal.

To successfully submit your AIOU online application, first create an account on the AIOU admission portal by providing your personal information like CNIC number, name, email and mobile phone number etc.

After creating your online account on the portal, press the “Apply Now” button and fill your online AIOU Spring Admission Form 2024.

Then upload the scanned copies of the requested documents to your portal.

Then generate an application processing fee challan of AIOU.

Deposit your fee at any UBL, FWB, ABL and MCB branch or use JazzCash, EasyPaisa and Apisa services to deposit your fee.

You can save your application process in between but you are advised to submit it before the last date of AIOU admission (15th April 2024).

The total amount of AIOU application processing fee may vary depending on the program and course you choose.

Upload the paid challan receipt on your AIOU portal and submit your application only after submitting your application processing fee.

AIOU 2024 Spring Admission Deadline:

As mentioned earlier, Allama Iqbal Open University is currently open for applications for spring intake 2024. It is important to note that the university has set a different deadline for this year's spring 2024 admissions than in previous years. Last date for AIOU admissions this year is 15th April 2024.
