VU Admission Eligibility Criteria:

For BS/ADP programs:

Intermediate/HSSC/A-level or equivalent qualification with minimum 45% marks.

IBCC Equivalence Certificate will be mandatory in case of foreign or local qualification which requires further clarification.

Candidates may have to complete "Zero Semester" in case of not completing their previous qualification with compulsory subjects.

Candidates securing 33% to 44% marks in zero semester will be eligible for admission.

For Diploma Courses:

Bachelors or Associate Degree (14 years education) or equivalent qualification in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 45% marks or CGPA 2.00 out of 4.0

Equivalence certificate from HEC shall be mandatory in case of foreign or O/A level qualification.

VU Admission Application Process:

Sign up for an account for the Virtual University Admission Portal.

Enter the requested details (Name, CNIC Number, Email etc.) to successfully create your account.

After that, start filling your online VU application form.

Upload all scanned copies of requested documents and photographs.

Then generate online application processing fee challan.

Submit Vu application processing fee of 500/- (You can submit your fee online or by visiting any branch of the bank mentioned in the fee challan)

After submitting your fee, upload the paid receipt of fee challan to your VU admission portal.

If you do not currently have the required copies of your documents, you can save your application midway through the process. But make sure to submit your application before the last date (March 15, 2024).

This university is one of the well-known and established universities of Pakistan. This university is placed in the city of colleges of Lahore. Virtual University was established in 2002. 

Although it was founded by the Government of Pakistan, it is still recognized as a private educational center in Lahore. It was inaugurated by the President of Pakistan on 23 March 2002. The university has been affiliated with the Higher Education Commission and has even placed its name at the bottom of the ranking of the best research management sciences and computer science universities in Pakistan. All functions and functions of the University are controlled and supervised by the Chancellor named Dr. Naveed A. Malik.
