HEC Law GAT Eligibility:
Candidates who have obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Law or its equivalent from an HEC/PBC recognized University or Institute are eligible to apply for HEC Law GAT.
Students who are awaiting their final results for LLB degree or equivalent cannot apply.
Candidates have also submitted some necessary documents while applying like, CNIC number, currently active phone number and email, address, scanned copy of your law degree and Law GAT application processing fee payment receipt etc.
Law GAT Syllabus and Marks:
The HEC Law GAT test will consist of multiple choice questions entirely as per the syllabus prescribed by HEC and PBC. Law GAT Test 2024 will be scored out of 100 marks, candidates must secure minimum 50% to pass. Successful completion of the Law GAT test is required for individuals to practice as an advocate or advocate. HEC Law GAT 2024 Test Date:
While announcing the opening of Law GAT Test 2024 applications, HEC also revealed the provisional Law GAT 2024 test date, which is March 31, 2024. In case of any change in test date, registered students will receive notifications through ETC HEC portal, along with mobile SMS and email alerts. HEC Law GAT Test 2024 will be held in major cities across Pakistan. Candidates can select their preferred examination hall from the center list provided in the application form. How to Apply for Law GAT 2024:
We have provided the comprehensive Law GAT application procedure below, students must follow to successfully apply for Law GAT:
First, create an account on the HEC ETC portal to start your online Law GAT registration.
Enter your name, CNIC number, phone number and email etc. to create an account on this online Law GAT portal.
After completing your HEC ETC portal profile, press the "Law GAT Test 2024" button from the left hand menu panel of the online portal.
Incomplete applications or applications in save mode will not be entertained. Only applications submitted by the last date (March 12, 2024) will be considered.
After filling the Law GAT application, generate an online bank fee challan.
Pay Law GAT Test Fee Rs. 3000/- in banks supporting 1Link 1Bill Invoice service.
Alternatively, students can deposit their HEC Law GAT fee through online banking options, Easypaisa, Jazzcash and Upaisa using the 1Link 1Bill Invoice service.
Candidates must also upload the scanned copy of their paid challan receipt on their portal.
Please note that the test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.

Important Guidelines related to GAT Act 2024:
Last date for submission of application for LAW GAT test is 12 March 2024 by 4:00 PM.
Provisional Law GAT 2024 date is 31 March 2024.

If there is any change in the exam date, HEC will inform the candidates through portal notifications, SMS and emails.
Download your HEC LAW GAT roll number slip from HEC ETC online portal and your registered email address one week before the test date.
Make sure to provide your current email and mobile number to receive roll number slips and test updates.
On the day of the test, bring your printed LAW GAT roll number slip, original paid fee challan, and original CNIC to enter the test center.
To clear the Law GAT, you need to score at least 50%. Also, candidates have to abide by the rules and regulations of the Pakistan Bar Council. They have a maximum of seven chances to clear the exam, which is conducted quarterly by the HEC.
