62 New Subjects Were Introduced for Matric and Inter Students. National Curriculum Council of Pakistan (NCCP) has introduced 62 new subjects for Matric and Inter students. Marking a major curriculum update after 28 years. The NCCP director confirmed that a total of 38 subjects of the overall syllabus for classes 9th to 12th have been revised.

The director said that in technical education subjects, 10 additional technical subjects, 14 upgraded technical subjects, and 38 optional subjects have been introduced for class IX to XII.

In the first phase in Sindh, one can expect new educational materials for optional subjects of classes 9th to 11th next year.

Technical education subjects will now include medical technology, fashion designing, and dressmaking, as announced by the director. Other subjects such as graphic designing and media production, hospitality management, tourism management, and data coding will also be covered.

The upgraded technical subjects will cover areas like advertising, telecommunication technology, and solar construction along with computer application, computer hardware, marketing, entrepreneurship, and event management.

Additionally, subjects like food processing, conservation, motor winding, automation and robotics technology, welding and woodwork will also be included.

The NCCP director also said that some world languages are being included as subjects in the new curriculum, including Chinese, French, Persian and Arabic.

ڈائریکٹر نے بتایا کہ ٹیکنیکل ایجوکیشن کے مضامین میں 10 اضافی ٹیکنیکل مضامین، 14 اپ گریڈ شدہ ٹیکنیکل مضامین، اور 38 آپشنل مضامین نویں سے بارہویں جماعت کے لیے متعارف کرائے گئے ہیں۔

سندھ میں پہلے مرحلے میں آئندہ سال نویں سے گیارہویں جماعت کے اختیاری مضامین کے لیے نئے تعلیمی مواد کی توقع کی جا سکتی ہے۔

تکنیکی تعلیم کے مضامین میں اب میڈیکل ٹیکنالوجی، فیشن ڈیزائننگ، اور ڈریس میکنگ شامل ہوں گے، جیسا کہ ڈائریکٹر نے اعلان کیا ہے۔ دیگر مضامین جیسے گرافک ڈیزائننگ اور میڈیا پروڈکشن، مہمان نوازی کا انتظام، ٹورازم مینجمنٹ، اور ڈیٹا کوڈنگ کو بھی شامل کیا جائے گا۔

اپ گریڈ شدہ تکنیکی مضامین میں کمپیوٹر ایپلیکیشن، کمپیوٹر ہارڈ ویئر، مارکیٹنگ، انٹرپرینیورشپ، اور ایونٹ مینجمنٹ کے ساتھ ایڈورٹائزنگ، ٹیلی کمیونیکیشن ٹیکنالوجی، اور سولر کنسٹرکشن جیسے شعبوں کا احاطہ کیا جائے گا۔

مزید برآں، فوڈ پروسیسنگ، کنزرویشن، موٹر وائنڈنگ، آٹومیشن اور روبوٹکس ٹیکنالوجی، ویلڈنگ اور ووڈ ورک جیسے مضامین بھی شامل کیے جائیں گے۔

این سی سی پی کے ڈائریکٹر نے یہ بھی کہا کہ نئے نصاب میں کچھ عالمی زبانیں بطور مضامین شامل کی جا رہی ہیں، جن میں چینی، فرانسیسی، فارسی اور عربی شامل ہیں۔
