Q.2. Short Questions = 10 Marks
Students will have to answer any 5 out of 8 short questions. 5 short questions are from exercise questions and 3 are from lessons.
Q.3. Translate the paragraph into Urdu = 8 marks
There will be no choice in this question. Only 1 paragraph will be given and students have to translate the same paragraph into Urdu.
Q.4. Write a summary or explain the stanza of the poem = 5 marks
This question has a choice for students. Students can either write a summary of the given topic or paraphrase a given stanza of the poem.
Q.5. Write an essay or paragraph = 15 marks.
These questions are double-choice: internal choice and external choice. Students can write an essay or a paragraph on a given topic. There are three headings for essays and 3 for paragraphs. So, students will either write an essay on one of the three given topics or they will write a paragraph on one of the three given topics.

8 sentences are given with direct or indirect statements and students have to change any 5 sentences into the opposite narrative. Usually, direct statements come up and students have to change them into indirect statements.

There are 8 pairs of words and students have to use any 5 of them in their sentences. Each sentence carries 0.5 marks.
